Page Speed Monitor: Faster Pages, With Fixes Ranked by Impact

Know how fast your pages load and what to fix first.

The Page Speed Monitor is the page speed monitoring agent in the Ai1 platform by MyZone AI: it tests how fast your pages load on phone and desktop, keeps watching your key pages and ranks what to fix first, with alerts when a page slows down and when it recovers.

We'll show you the Page Speed Monitor on your own website.

Plans & pricing

  • Know what to fix first

A ranked list backed by evidence means your web team spends its time on the change that makes the biggest difference.

  • Catch slowdowns early

When a page gets slower after an update, it is flagged before it starts costing you visitors.

  • Proof, not guesses

Each fix is retested, and the verdict from real visitors is always kept apart from the lab estimate.

What the Page Speed Monitor does for you

  • One off speed tests

Test any public page once and get a grade, the key numbers explained in plain words, the page size and the top fixes.

  • Watches your key pages

Pick a few page types, such as your home page, a landing page, a product page and checkout. It retests them on your schedule, against speed budgets if you set any.

  • A verdict from real visitors

Where Google has enough real visitor data, it shows whether a page passes Core Web Vitals. Lab numbers are shown as an estimate, never as the verdict.

  • Ranked fixes for your platform

Ask why a page is slow and get fixes in order of impact, with plain steps for WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Next.js or whatever your site runs on.

  • Page Speed Report in your chat

Trends over time, the fix list, size breakdowns, a load timeline and filmstrip, and before and after comparisons, all shown in your chat.

  • Slowdown and recovery alerts

Your contacts hear when a page gets clearly slower and again when it recovers, by email, Slack or text message once a text service is connected for your business.

How the Page Speed Monitor differs from a one-off speed test

A one-off speed test gives you a score for a single moment and leaves you to work out what it means. The Page Speed Monitor keeps watching your key pages on your schedule, ranks fixes by impact with plain steps for your platform and alerts your contacts when a page gets clearly slower and again when it recovers. Pass or fail comes only from Google's real visitor data, and it never edits your website.

How this differs from the Uptime Monitor: the Uptime Monitor checks whether your site is up or down, while the Page Speed Monitor tests how fast your pages load and what to fix first.

From your request to a finished result

It runs inside your Ai1 system and works in the tools you already use. You ask, it works, it reports, and it stops for your OK where it matters.

How the Page Speed Monitor works: you ask through the Comms Hub and Ai1 runs the steps: pick your pages, first test, test the alerts, watch and alert and fix and prove. You approve at: test the alerts. It returns a performance fixes.

Step 1: Pick your pages

Choose a few key page types, how often to test them and who should be alerted.

Step 2: First test

Each page is loaded three times on a phone and three times on a desktop, alongside real visitor data where it exists.

You approve

Step 3: Test the alerts

It offers a test alert for each route so you know it arrives. You approve before any test goes out.

Step 4: Watch and alert

It retests on your schedule and alerts your contacts on clear slowdowns and again on recoveries.

Step 5: Fix and prove

You get ranked fixes. If you ask, they go to the Webmaster, and a retest then shows whether the change helped.

What it won't do

Example: product page speed report

Example with a fictional company. Names, people and figures are invented to show the agent's output. Any resemblance to a real company or person is unintended. Industry facts are real and cited with their sources.

What it was asked: How fast is our round frame product page on a phone, and what should we fix first?

Example report
Phone grade D and desktop grade B with key timing numbers, a real-visitor verdict and a bar showing where the page weight goes
How fast is the product page? Phone and desktop test
Three numbered fix cards naming the image and script files and sizes found, with plain steps for an online shop
What to fix first: three ranked fixes
A table of three watched pages with schedules and speed budgets, a blocked checkout test and two tested alert routes
Watching the key pages and testing the alerts
A timeline and a before and after table showing the phone score and main photo time improving after a person made two changes
Before and after: did the changes help?

What it found: 3 findings, with the numbers

  • On phones the round frame product page scores 58 out of 100 (grade D): its main photo takes 4.8 seconds to appear, against the 2.5 seconds Google treats as good.
  • Three fixes explain most of the delay: two oversized photos (1.9 MB and 610 KB), a 212 KB reviews script that blocks the first paint, and a main photo that loads late.
  • After a person on the shop's team compressed the photos and deferred the script, a retest showed the phone score rising from 58 to 76 and the main photo appearing in 2.7 seconds.

A real Chrome browser in an isolated sandbox ran Google Lighthouse on one product page, phone and desktop, as the median of 3 loads, with a 5-load retest after the shop team made two of the three changes. Lab figures are an estimate: only Google's real visitor data can give a Core Web Vitals verdict, and here it exists only site-wide. Every figure in this example is invented, and nothing on the shop was changed by the agent. Run date: .

It asks before it acts

Every Ai1 agent works under human approval. Here is how the Page Speed Monitor keeps you in control.

  • It never edits or publishes your website. Fixes go to the Webmaster only if you ask, and the page is retested once the change is live.
  • The lab test is an estimate. Only Google's real visitor data can say pass or fail, and it tells you when a page has none.
  • A full browser test is heavy, so a page is retested at most once an hour.
  • If your site's bot protection blocks the test browser, it leaves that page out and explains how to let the test through.

Frequently asked questions about the Page Speed Monitor

Can a lab speed test tell me whether a page passes Core Web Vitals?

No. A lab test is an estimate. Whether a page passes Core Web Vitals comes from Google's real visitor data, where Google has enough of it, so a good browser score alone does not mean a pass.

The Page Speed Monitor keeps the real visitor verdict separate from the lab estimate and tells you when a page has no real visitor data.

What should a page speed test show a business owner?

A grade for phone and desktop, the key numbers explained in plain words, the page size and the top fixes. The Page Speed Monitor loads each page three times on a phone and three times on a desktop, alongside real visitor data where it exists. It retests at most once an hour, because a full browser test is heavy, and testing a few page types gives the same insight as every address on your site.

If your site's security stops the test browser, that page is marked blocked by bot protection, left out of the results, and you get an explanation of how to let the test through.

How do you decide which website performance fixes to make first?

Rank them by impact, with evidence. The Page Speed Monitor names the files and sizes involved and gives plain steps for WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Next.js or whatever your site runs on.

It never edits or publishes anything on your site. If you ask, the list goes to the Webmaster, and the page is retested once the change is live.

Is the Page Speed Monitor available today, and is page speed the same as SEO?

Yes. It runs through your Ai1 server, tests how fast your pages load, keeps watching your key pages and ranks what to fix first.

Page speed is not the same as SEO. This agent measures speed; what speed means for your search rankings belongs to the SEO Agent.
