360 Reviews: Confidential, Combined 360 Feedback for Development

Feedback from several colleagues, shown as one combined result for growth.

360 Reviews is the 360 degree feedback agent in the Ai1 platform by MyZone AI: it plans and runs a development round in which several colleagues rate one person on set work behaviours, then shows that person and their manager one combined, rounded result once at least 3 raters have answered.

We'll walk through what 360 Reviews will do for your team. Your Ai1 team will tell you when 360 Reviews is ready for your account.

Plans & pricing

  • Feedback people can act on

Ratings are on observable work behaviours, so the result points at things a person can practise.

  • Raters protected

Nobody sees who rated or what any one person answered, and thin items stay hidden.

  • A fair, shared view

The person and their manager see the same combined report at the same moment.

  • Kept to growth

Results are kept out of pay, promotion and discipline, so people can be candid.

What 360 Reviews does for you

  • Explains how a 360 works here

Plain answers for staff and managers on who rates, what is shown and how raters are protected, before anyone is asked to take part.

  • Plans the cycle with People Ops

A set question bank, rules for who may rate, the person's own opt-in and an independent releaser who checks the report before it goes out.

  • Combines and rounds the answers

Each behaviour shows one rounded combined score, and an item with fewer than 3 answers is left out entirely.

  • Shares with the person and manager together

Only the person and their manager of record see the report, at the same moment, after the releaser's blind check.

  • Drafts the invitations

Invitations and reminders are prepared as drafts for People Ops to send.

  • Shows a worked example first

A full practice cycle on made-up data, so your team can see every stage before running a real one.

How 360 Reviews differs from Surveys & Feedback

Surveys & Feedback asks your staff about the workplace as a whole. 360 Reviews gathers what several colleagues have seen one person do, for that person's growth. Answers are combined and rounded, an item needs at least 3 raters, and the person and their manager see the report together after an independent check. It never decides pay, promotion, discipline, termination or anything else about a person, and health, harassment, discrimination or legal concerns go to a person.

How this differs from the Surveys & Feedback: For engagement and general staff surveys, use Surveys & Feedback; 360 Reviews gathers colleague feedback about one person, for their development only.

From your request to a finished result

It runs inside your Ai1 system and works in the tools you already use. You ask, it works, it reports, and it stops for your OK where it matters.

How 360 Reviews works: you ask through the Comms Hub and Ai1 runs the steps: agree the cycle, raters answer, combined and rounded, release check and shared at once. You approve at: agree the cycle, release check. It returns a combined report.

Step 1: Agree the cycle

People Ops chooses the person, the raters by rule and the releaser, and the person opts in.

Step 2: Raters answer

Colleagues rate set behaviours through a private route; answers never pass through chat.

Step 3: Combined and rounded

Answers are combined and rounded, and held back wherever fewer than 3 raters answered.

Step 4: Release check

An independent People Ops releaser checks the report without seeing who said what.

Step 5: Shared at once

The person and their manager see the same report at the same time.

Illustrative photo. Can you set up a development round for my team lead with the colleagues who work with him?
  • A new team lead wants to grow
Peers, reports and their manager rate set behaviours, and the lead gets one combined picture to plan from.
  • A manager asks who gave a low score
The answer is no. Results are combined, and nobody sees who rated or how any one person answered.
  • Someone wants results for a pay review
The request is refused. Results from 360 Reviews are for development conversations only.
  • Only 2 people answered one item
That item is left out of the report, so no answer can be traced back.

What you get

  • A planned 360 cycle with a set question bank and rater rules
  • Draft invitations and reminders for People Ops to send

Example: 360 development report and cycle plan

Example with a fictional company. Names, people and figures are invented to show the agent's output. Any resemblance to a real company or person is unintended.

What it was asked: Plan a practice 360 for E2207 on our engineering behaviours, show us the combined report and how it gets released, and tell us what is still needed before we run real cycles.

Example report
A five-step timeline from opt-in to release, a table of eight fixed work behaviours, a list of rules for who may rate, and two cards for the employee's opt-in and the independent releaser.
Cycle plan: eight work behaviours, rating rules and an independent releaser
Eight behaviours with a score bar each, six showing a rounded score from 3.0 to 4.5 and two marked not shown because fewer than 3 answered, beside tiles, a box on how raters are protected and two talking points.
The combined report: one rounded score per behaviour
A release box with three completed checks and a release time for both people at once, two cards on who can open it and corrections, and three short notices marked draft, not sent.
Release: E2207 and M114 see it at the same time, after the releaser's check
A purpose box saying the report is for development only, a note sending sensitive concerns to a person, a draft conversation agenda, and a table of four setup steps still needed before real cycles run.
Development only, and what real cycles still need

What it found: 3 findings, with the numbers

  • In this practice 360 for project engineer E2207, 6 of 8 work behaviours have a combined score; the other 2 had fewer than 3 answers and stay hidden.
  • The highest combined scores were 4.5 of 5 for sharing design changes the same day and following the checking process; meeting agreed dates was lowest at 3.0.
  • E2207 and manager M114 see the report together on Mon 2 Nov after an independent People Ops releaser's check; real cycles wait on 4 setup steps.

This is an illustrative example of the cycle plan, combined report and release steps that 360 Reviews is being built to produce for a practice cycle. It was written by hand from the agent's design for an invented engineering consultancy, with invented staff ids, behaviours and scores, and no real systems or people were involved. Nothing was sent, posted, paid or changed. Run date: .

It asks before it acts

Every Ai1 agent works under human approval. Here is how 360 Reviews keeps you in control.

  • Your Ai1 team will tell you when 360 Reviews is ready for your account.
  • Results are confidential and combined, not anonymous: nobody sees who rated or what any one person answered. An item is shown only when at least 3 raters have answered it.
  • For growth conversations only. A 360 never feeds pay, promotion, discipline, calibration or termination, and every employment decision stays with people.
  • A health, harassment, discrimination or legal concern goes to your HR complaint route and a person, never into a 360.
  • Real cycles start only after setup for your business is in place, including a private answer route and records rules your counsel approves. It sends nothing; invitations are drafts for People Ops.

Frequently asked questions about 360 Reviews

How are raters protected in multi-rater feedback?

Answers are combined and rounded, nobody sees who rated or what any one person said, and an item is hidden when too few people answered it. That makes the feedback confidential and combined, not anonymous. 360 Reviews applies these rules and keeps results for development only.

Why keep 360 feedback separate from pay decisions?

Colleagues answer more candidly when their words cannot cost someone money or a job, so the feedback stays on growth. 360 Reviews keeps results for development conversations only; pay, promotion, discipline, calibration and termination stay with people, and a health, harassment, discrimination or legal concern goes to your HR complaint route and a person.

What makes a good question in a 360 review?

One about an observable work behaviour, something colleagues have actually seen the person do, so the result points at things that person can practise. 360 Reviews works from a set question bank agreed with People Ops and can walk your team through a practice cycle on made-up data first.

How does 360 degree feedback work here?

Several colleagues rate one person on a set list of observable work behaviours. 360 Reviews combines and rounds the answers, hides any item with fewer than 3 answers, and shows one report to the person and their manager at the same time.

Can anyone see who gave which rating?

It is confidential and combined, not anonymous. Nobody, including People Ops, sees who rated or what any one person answered. Items with fewer than 3 answers are hidden so no answer can be traced back.

Can 360 results be used in pay or promotion decisions?

No. Results are for development only and are never used for pay, promotion, discipline, calibration or termination.

Who sees the final 360 report?

Only the person and their manager of record, at the same moment, after an independent People Ops releaser has checked it. There is no export and no third viewer.

Is 360 Reviews available now?

Not yet. Your Ai1 team will tell you when 360 Reviews is ready for your account. You can talk to us today about how feedback works in your team now.
