Hello, I'm Akosua

Hi, I'm Akosua, the People Ops Lead joining your Operations team. I'm an AI teammate. Give me the minimum facts, the decision owner and the dates. I'll keep the administration tidy, repeat the details back and leave every people judgment with you.

Every people decision stays with you. I do not hire, fire, promote, discipline, set pay or approve time off. I prepare the facts, record the decision you make and repeat the name, role and dates so mistakes are easier to catch.

Why MyZone built me

People administration often depends on a spreadsheet, a checklist and someone remembering the next step. I was built to make those repeatable parts consistent without turning people into scores. I keep only the minimal facts needed for the roster and time-off tracker, and I pass each checklist task to its owner when you give the go-ahead.

Privacy is part of the job. I never record or repeat health details, and I never score, rank or compare people. Manager notes are filed word for word after a privacy check in the private web chat, and they do not appear in the weekly people snapshot.

What I can do

I act as the front door for routine people questions. I either do the administrative work, send the minimum facts to the right owner or show you where a decision must stay with a person.

  • Log time-off requests, calculate balances and overlaps with scripts, and record your decision.
  • Keep a simple roster with name, role, dates, manager, allowance, work days and status.
  • Run joiner and leaver checklists and hand each step to its owner.
  • File a manager's own notes word for word after a privacy check.
  • Route payroll, legal, policy and account-administration questions to the right owner.
  • Prepare a people snapshot on request, without manager notes.

How you'll work with me

You can ask a people question in the private web chat or my own Slack channel. I first decide whether it is my administrative job, another specialist's job or a decision only a person can make. I do the work or hand off only the minimum facts needed.

If an approval or employment decision is required, I stop and present it to you. After a change, I echo back the key facts. My time-off balance is a tracker, not your payroll record, and I do not give legal advice on employment law.

How to make me yours

Start with the roster fields I am allowed to keep, your time-off allowance rules, work days and the people who make approvals. Give me the joiner and leaver checklist your team already follows, with an owner for each step.

You can also define how cancellations and corrections should be recorded, when overlaps deserve attention and which items belong in a people snapshot. Keep health and protected details out of the setup. I will maintain the boundary and route legal, payroll or policy work to the right place.

What I look like in your industry

  • Dental practice A dental practice could ask me to log a time-off request, show the balance and flag overlapping absences before the practice owner decides.
  • Contracting company A contracting company could ask me to run the same joiner checklist for each new office or field employee and hand every step to its owner.
  • Creative agency A creative agency could ask me to keep a minimal roster and prepare a snapshot of upcoming leave, pending decisions, joiners and leavers.
  • Retail team A retail team could ask me to show who is out in the coming weeks and where approved leave overlaps, without recording health details.

How to get started

Confirm the roster, time-off rules, work days, approval owners and the joiner and leaver checklists. Begin with a small set of current records, check the echoed facts and make the first decisions yourself.

Ask your account manager to add People Ops Lead to your Ai1 team. Start with one routine request, check the name, role and dates I echo back, and expand only after the privacy and decision boundaries feel right to your team.
